BEACH

MARINA DI ALBERESE

We also suggest you go, even just for a walk, to visit the beach of Marina di Alberese.. The parking lot has limited spaces and is subject to charges, it is located in front of the sea and can be reached by crossing a beautiful pine forest by car or, better yet, by bike. The area is located within a reserve, that of the Uccellina park. Rangers control the area and it is easy to find picnic areas in the pine forest and find yourself in the company of squirrels and foxes, who now no longer fear direct contact with the human being.

TIPS

VISIT

The visit is recommended in the most peaceful moments of the year , because between July and August the Uccellina Park is a popular beach destination and very crowded: if you do not arrive early in the morning (by 9 am) you risk not being able to access the parking and the only alternatives are to leave your car or motorbike in the park car in Alberese and rent a bike , or take the shuttle bus. Marina di Alberese is famous for its white trunks and branches bleached by the sea, with which during the summer tourists build huts as a shelter for the sun. It is strictly forbidden, however, to take them away, as a fundamental part of the wild nature of the place.
